Certificates

Your examination certificates are very important and are evidence of your hard work and school career. If you lose them, they are very expensive to replace, so look after them carefully. Certificates will be sent to the school about 10 weeks after results day. Your certificate will show your final, confirmed results.

Once you’ve collected your certificate, do take a good look at it to ensure that your details are correct, e.g. your name is spelt correctly, and it has your correct date of birth. Should you need to make any changes, please talk to your school or college who will return your certificate to us for amendment and re-issue.

Further information about collection of your certificates will be given in the November following your GCSE exams.

If on the day you have any queries or concerns with the grades that you receive, we have set up a dedicated exams email address to deal with these. Please contact exams@holderness.academy and we will be able to give you advice and guidance.

Please can you ensure that any textbooks and/or equipment that belongs to the school is returned on this day.
