Pupils commended for Carol Service performances

Holderness Academy pupils took part in the annual carol service at St Augustine’s Church in Hedon. The event on Wednesday 18th December, a tradition in the community, was hailed a resounding success, with students showcasing their musical talents, reading abilities and dedication to upholding the values of the school community.
Neal Holder, Headteacher at Holderness Academy, said: “We are incredibly proud of how our learners represented Holderness Academy at this special event. The level of professionalism, commitment and talent they displayed was truly impressive. Their hard work and dedication were evident throughout, and they set a wonderful example for our school and the wider community. The many members of the public who attended remarked on the learners’ immaculate conduct and the beauty of their performances. Numerous compliments were received regarding their conduct and behaviour.”
Julia Lovel, Assistant Headteacher, said: “Through their involvement, our learners not only brought warmth and joy to the service but also reminded everyone of the importance of community, reflection and tradition at Christmas.”
