Athletics Event - 25th January
Primary Sports’ Hall Athletics Competition
Holderness Academy welcomed 6 of our cluster primary schools to take part in the primary Sports’ Hall athletics competition on Tuesday 25th January. This was a really exciting event because for a lot of the children this was their first competition since covid restrictions began over two years ago.
All students performed brilliantly and were a credit to their schools, with some amazing achievements seen throughout the day. Well done to all.
Congratulations go to Inmans and Thorngumbald for taking 1st and 2nd place and who now go onto the final in a few weeks’ time. Good Luck to both schools, we look forward to hearing about your successes.
A special mention must go to Holderness Academy leaders in years 7 and 8 who showed great teamwork throughout the day to help lead different events. All students displayed tremendous aspiration, resilience and kindness throughout the day.
